When is the best time to book?
Late May through August is the sweet spot for warm-season grasses in Maryland. You want the lawn in active growth — not heading into the fall slowdown. Earlier in summer is better than later.
Do I need to prepare my lawn beforehand?
Mow to about 2–3 inches and water thoroughly the day before — this is especially important in summer when soil dries out fast. Mark any irrigation heads or hidden obstacles and we'll handle the rest.

Why aerate in summer instead of fall?
Cool-season grasses (fescue, bluegrass) are best aerated in fall. But warm-season grasses like Bermuda and Zoysia are actively growing in summer — that's when aeration has the most impact. Aerating during dormancy in fall would stress them unnecessarily.
