Q: How does lawn size affect the price?
A: Pricing is tiered by square footage. Select your lawn size when booking and the exact price is shown before you pay — no surprises.
Q: What's the difference between Vital Core and Vital Growth?
A: Vital Core is aeration only — the essential foundation service. Vital Growth adds Blue Tag certified overseeding immediately after aeration, seeding directly into the fresh core holes for maximum germination. If you have bare patches or want a noticeably thicker lawn, Vital Growth is the upgrade.
Q: When's the best time to aerate?
A: For cool-season grasses (tall fescue, bluegrass), fall is ideal — soil temps are warm enough for recovery but the stress of summer heat is over. Late August through October is the sweet spot for Maryland.
Q: Do I need to prepare my lawn beforehand?
A: Mow to about 2–3 inches and water thoroughly the day before if conditions are dry — moist soil aerates far better than dry. Mark any hidden irrigation heads or obstacles and we handle the rest.
